Dearest Ones, As the time draws near for my appearing, the things upon earth will be growing dramatically worse, and the challenges of your lives will also be more daunting. But I want to assure you that as your challenges grow more demanding, so my grace, strength, wisdom, and provisions for you will grow to meet and surpass whatever I permit to come to you. As you know, I have for centuries been holding back the winds of strife for my people's sake, and for the unsaved to have an opportunity to accept my sacrifice and my salvation. But the ripening of the grain on both sides - both my people, and also the wicked - is almost to the point of complete maturity, where there will be no more purpose in delaying the day of my coming. So it is now my privilege and my joy to bring an end to sin and suffering and bring in my long-awaited eternity where sin and sinners are no more. Have you ever been on an airplane during a storm and ridden through the buffeting waves of turbulence as the pilot skillfully guided the aircraft with its precious cargo to the appointed destination? You could do nothing to protect yourself through the howling of the wind and the pelting rain and bolts of lightning shooting down from the sky, except to pray and trust the skill of the pilot and the strength of the aircraft to get you safely to the ground. So I will be with you and guide you through the storms ahead. I am your pilot, and I have already plotted your course. The second apartment cleansing you are now experiencing brings you into my hiding place where you will be safe through the storm; and you can be sure that I will bring you safely home with me where there will be eternal peace and joy and safety forever. You are my precious treasure - the reward of all my suffering; and you can be fully assured that I will not allow even one hair of your head to perish! Now go to the activities of your day, but begin now to practice a kind of faith that you have never had before because circumstances have not required it. But I assure you that what you go through now and in the future will require perfect faith and trust in me and love for me that cannot be produced in a moment. That is why the cleansing of your lives is an absolute necessity. The normal trials of life are not enough to produce the faith and connection with me that everyone who goes through the time of trouble will need in order to stay connected with me and receive my power and protection and perfect love that took me through the cross and gave me the victory over fear and self-preservation that I can now give to you. But you must be cleansed on every point that would cause you to disconnect from me when the pressure is great. You see, it is my strength and perfection and faith that will get you through, but it is your trust and love for me and your constant connection with me that will enable me to give you every gift and grace that you will need to be a perfect overcomer, and receive my "well done" at the conclusion of the journey. So hold on to me, as the turbulence is about to begin in earnest. But just remember that I will never let you perish, never let a trial come to you that I have not already prepared you to bear. I will provide for all your necessities and bear you up in every difficulty. You just need to look to me, and the help you need will be there, for I will assign angels to surround, protect, and provide for your every need. There will never be a moment when I will leave nor forsake you. And as we walk through the valley of Jehoshaphat together [see Joel 3:1, 2; 9-17], a bond will be formed that will never be broken throughout eternity! Lovingly, Jesus. I saw a covering that God was drawing over His people to protect them in the time of trouble; and every soul that was decided on the truth and was pure in heart was to be covered with the covering of the Almighty." EW 43. "Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones." 9 T 11. "Fearful tests and trials await the people of God. The spirit of war is stirring the nations from one end of the earth to the other. But in the midst of the time of trouble that is coming - a time of trouble that has not been since there was a nation, - God's chosen people will stand unmoved. Satan and his host cannot destroy them, for angels that excel in strength will protect them." 9 T 17. "I saw that God will in a wonderful manner preserve His people through the time of trouble." 1 T 353. "Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and those things that cannot be shaken will remain. The Lord is coming very soon, and we are entering into scenes of calamity." 9 T 62. "The time is right upon us when there will be sorrow that no human balm can heal. Sentinel angels are now restraining the four winds, that they shall not blow till the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads; but when God shall bid his angels loose the four winds, there will be a scene of strife such as no pen can picture." R&H 3/14/1912. "There is an unerring register kept of all sins committed. All man's impiety, all his disobedience to Heaven's commands are written in the books of heaven with unerring accuracy. The figures of guilt rapidly accumulate, yet the judgments of God are tempered with mercy, until the figures have reached their appointed limit. God bears long with the transgression of human beings, and continues through His appointed agencies to present the gospel message until the set time has come. God bears with divine patience with the perversity of the wicked; but He declares that He will visit their transgressions with a rod. He will at last permit the destructive agencies of Satan to bear sway to destroy." 4 BC 1171. "Just before we entered it [the time of trouble] we all received the seal of the living God. Then I saw the four angels cease to hold the four winds. And I saw famine, pestilence and sword, nation rose against nation, and the whole world was in confusion." 7 BC 968. "In those days, at that time, declares the Lord, search will be made for Israel's guilt, but there will be none, and for the sins of Judah, but none will be found, for I will forgive the remnant I spare." Jer. 50:20. "The remnant of Israel will do no wrong; they will speak no lies, nor will deceit be found in their mouths. They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid." Zeph. 3:13. "Everything in the world is in an unsettled state. The nations are angry, and great preparations for war are being made. Nation is plotting against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. The great day of God is hastening greatly. But although the nations are mustering their forces for war and bloodshed, the command to the angels is still in force, that they hold the four winds until the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads." 7 BC 968. "When tempted to sin, let us remember that Jesus is pleading for us in the heavenly sanctuary. When we put away our sins and come to Him in faith, He takes our names on His lips, and presents them to His Father, saying, 'I have graven them upon the palms of my hands; I know them by name.' And the command goes forth to the angels to protect them. Then in the day of fierce trial He will say, 'Come my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors behind thee: hide thyselves as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.' What are the chambers in which they are to hide? They are the protection of Christ & holy angels." 4 BC 1143. "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For behold, the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." Isa. 26:20, 21. "The meek of the earth, who have wrought His judgments, are hid in the day of the Lord's anger." 1T 619. "Soon God is to rise out of His place to shake terribly the earth, and to punish the wicked for their iniquity. Then He will stand up in behalf of His people, and will give them His protecting care. He will throw His everlasting arms about them, to shield them from all harm." GW 265. "I saw that our bread and water will be sure and that we shall not lack or suffer hunger; for God is able to spread a table for us in the wilderness." EW 56. "As God led His people safely through the terrible wilderness (Deut. 1:19), and a thousand years later brought them back from Babylon, so He will safely conduct His people through the great time of trouble forecast by Daniel." 4 BC 160 (not EGW). "In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages, but were pursued by the wicked, who entered the houses of the saints with a sword to kill us, but it broke, and fell as powerless as a straw. Then we all cried day and night for deliverance, and the cry came up before God. The sun came up and the moon stood still. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came up and clashed against each other. But there was one clear place of settled glory, whence came the voice of God like many waters, which shook the heavens and the earth." EW 34. "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling even the Lord, who is my refuge - then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guide you in all your ways." Ps. 91:2-11.
